Zillur Rahman laid to eternal rest

Zillur Rahman, the 19th President of Bangladesh, was laid to eternal rest at 4:00pm at city’s Banani Graveyard on Friday afternoon.

His body was taken to Banani Graveyard at 3:25pm.
After arrival of the body of the president at Banani Graveyard, two minutes silence was observed and salute was given to Zillur.
The Artillery team of Bangladesh Army offered a gun salute to the late president after placing the body inside the grave.
Later, Army parade team paid honor to him with volley fire.
After burial of the president, acting President Abdul Hamid advocate and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gradually placed floral wreath at his grave.
