ESPN network to be renamed FOX Sports in Singapore, Asia

From Monday, ESPN networks here in Singapore and countries across Asia will be renamed FOX Sports networks.
This move follows News Corporation’s acquisition of ESPN’s partnership interest in ESPN STAR Sports in November, announced FOX Sports at a media conference this afternoon, The Straits Times publishes the report on Thursday.
Subscribers of ESPN networks in Singapore will continue to enjoy the same content, with the addition of Ultimate Fighting Championship and Asean Basketball League content.

Said Peter Hutton, senior vice-president, sports, FOX International Channels, ‘FOX Sports is committed to further enhancing this experience for sports fans in Singapore by showcasing even more engaging, localised programming and delivering to them all the best content in the most convenient ways’.
